Hi Brad, you're right Jaydee's eyes are amazing in that photo. I think you're right to choose the pastel and pencil to bring out that colour and getting it in A2 size is just going to blow you away!!
Make sure you have your finger on the buy button at 10am tomorrow to make sure you get your portrait at the great early bird price...also there will be another bonus I'll be throwing in for hoomans who act super quick in ordering their portrait. :) :) Stay tuned!

Helene-
Thank you so much for your blog and for specially recognizing rescue dogs. My rescues have changed my life forever and I would love to share their story and I will try to summarize.

About 7 months ago I was contemplating getting a companion for my shepard mix Shelby. After weeks of talking it over with family an article in the paper caught our attention. It was about a dog family of 3 (Mom, Dad and son-shepard mixes). Mom and son were tied up outside of an abandoned home without food or water for over 2 weeks in the blazing heat. Son was stabbed by an unknown object and mom cleaned his wound which is the only reason why he avoided infection. Dad was boarded up inside the home with no venelation. When they found him he was hours from death.

After neighbors reported the neglect to authorities our local county no-kill shelter intervened in the rescue because the city where they were located the animal control was a kill shelter and provided no vet service.

After taking in all 3, the county shelter nursed them to health and placed them up for adoption. After seeing the article, we went to see if Mom was the right fit for us. Unfortunately our dominate female would not adjust well to another female (we were assured not to worry, there was a line of people to adopt). However, I met the son, fell in love and brought him home a week later after medical clearance. The story doesn't end there because after sleepless nights thinking about DAD, we went back and brought him home as well, thinking he was there all by himself.

After working with son (who was still a puppy) and gaining dad's trust they are a perfect fit with our family. Gustav (son) and Daddy (dad) are the most loving, sweet, special companions we could have ever brought home and Shelby has fallen in love at the ripe ol' age of 9.

I do blog about them all the time on wordpress at Tails from the Fur to get a more detailed idea of their story.

Thanks again and love your work!

“hmmm, what can I do which will nearly give me a heart attack and send my (I need to control everything) stress levels through the roof?”

haha- you sound like me- not happy unless I'm in control!
Glad to see you stepped out of your comfort zone and used your talent to raise money for a good cause.
